Courtroom Talk - Dartmoor Archaeology

Join Simon Dell for an illustrated talk entitled "Dartmoor Archaeology".

Talk starts at 7pm, with doors opening at 6:45pm in the Courtroom. It is free to attend, although donations to the Guildhall Heritage Centre are always welcome.  

Discovery Team Half-Term - Victorian Games

The Discovery Team will be running a family activity session during May half-term on Wednesday 27th May

Step back in time this half term and join the Tavistock Heritage Trust Discovery Team for a fun, hands on Victorian games and crafts session for families with primary-aged children.

When: Wednesday 27th May, 10am – 1pm
Where: The Courtroom, Guildhall Heritage Centre

What’s on:
• Skittles
• Quoits
• Making Victorian fans
• Weaving and more traditional crafts

This is a relaxed, family-friendly drop-in session where children can explore how Victorians played and created.

The activities are free, but a suggested donation of £1 per child is welcome to help cover materials.

Activities will take place at the back of the Guildhall Courtroom. General access is via the main Courtroom door.
